Venue: Theatre Royal map Address: Jewry Street, Winchester, Hampshire, SO23 8SB Telephone: Box office: 01962 840440 Event: Boyband in the Buff: Starring Gareth Gates - 7.30pm - Get ready to scream like it's 1999! Boyband in the Buff is the ultimate throwback concert - starring pop heartthrob Gareth Gates and a cast of ripped and ridiculously talented performers. With nothing but harmonies, dance moves, and a whole lot of skin, the boys belt out the biggest hits of the '90s and '00s – from Backstreet Boys to NSYNC, Blue to Take That – in a show that's as nostalgic as it is naughty. It's a celebration of pop, passion, and pecs, where the clothes come off and the heat turns up. This is the ultimate night out for anyone who's ever swooned over a boyband. Warning: Contains tight harmonies and tighter pants. (At least, for the first few numbers.) Venue's website: theatreroyalwinchester.co.uk Venue's Facebook: facebook.com/TRWinchester |

Venue: St Mary's Church map Address: Church Lane, Twyford, Hampshire, SO21 1NS Event: The Duettists - 7pm - An evening of sumptuous music for two cellos in the beautiful church of St Mary the Virgin, Twyford. There will be sale of refreshments in the interval. The Duettists, formed in 2024, are active across the South of the UK and have performed at a wide array of venues including Croydon Minster, Winchester Cathedral, for the Museum of Music History, and for numerous private events. Their core repertoire is that of the 19th and early 20th centuries romantic period comprising music that brings out the passion, depth and lyricism of the cello as an instrument. Théa curates the music while Erlend writes the arrangements to be able to bring out the uniqueness and strengths of each cello, as well as finding creative ways of connecting them, producing an exciting listening experience. In this way the music and the performances become more personal, intimate and true to The Duettists, producing their own voice unique from other performing groups. Read more on www.theduettists.com.
