Having spent the summer on the road with the London German Choir, Winchester City Festival Choir is back home but keeping its European theme alive for their Christmas concert! They will be using in Christmas with a selection of European classics including Saint Saën’s Christmas Oratorio and carols from Sweden, Ukraine, Germany and Italy. Choir Director Barbara Höfling says this medley of carols will beautifully complement the Christmas Oratorio: "This is a Christmas staple on the continent but little known here – it’s a beautiful piece to get us ready for Christmas."
