Wednesday 25 March 2026
Venue: The Nutshell map Address: 15 Kings Walk, Winchester, Hampshire, SO23 8AF Telephone: 01962 808533 Event: I SAW SATAN AT THE 7-ELEVEN - 8pm - Come see Christopher Brett Bailey (This Is How We Die) perform I Saw Satan at the 7-Eleven. Fear and Loathing meets South Park in a screwball monologue that's part romance, part buddy comedy, part body horror. Two miles north of Hell, a nameless deadbeat narrator spots Satan buying soy milk at the 7-Eleven. Satan's a washed-up has-been, who’s totally lost his edge. That is until he falls in love with our narrator and the two embark on a debauched misadventure, by turns slapstick, violent, whimsical, dreamlike and tender. Wednesday 25 March 2026
Venue: Theatre Royal map Address: Jewry Street, Winchester, Hampshire, SO23 8SB Telephone: Box office: 01962 840440 Event: John Kearns: Tilting At Windmills - 7.30pm - Tilting at Windmills is the brand-new stand-up show from Taskmaster alumni and double Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner, John Kearns. A fragmented, digressing portrayal of a 38-year-old man’s life, alluding to books he hasn't read, touching on the modern condition. Plus VAT! More allusive and bleak as ever, it is unreal the comedian you become. And for who? Decent craic with the right crowd. A show for those who have read about but not committed to the Guinness Nitrosurge. Venue's website: theatreroyalwinchester.co.uk Venue's Facebook: facebook.com/TRWinchester |
