Nothing is the same for aspiring disco-queen Deloris after she witnesses her mobster boyfriend commit a terrible crime. Forced to go into hiding, she is sent to the last place anyone would think to look for her - the convent of the Queen of Angels Church. Living undercover as a modest, frugal nun is a drag, but when Deloris is tasked with improving the struggling choir, she discovers a 'habit' she might actually be destined for... Based on the iconic 1992 film, and featuring original disco inspired music by Oscar winner Alan Menken (Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors), this uplifting and riotously fun show is not to be missed. Boo and Yvonne have formed an inimitable songwriting partnership weaving these ephemeral stories with their own, creating an album full of nostalgia and beauty, hope and longing. Boo and Yvonne have formed an inimitable songwriting partnership weaving these ephemeral stories with their own, creating an album full of nostalgia and beauty, hope and longing.
