Once a month Amanda from Merry-go-Round Storytelling will bring to life a favourite story or classic tale with music, movement, early years drama, and lots of imaginative fun. These interactive storytelling sessions are perfect for inquisitive minds and anyone who just loves stories. Sessions will include sensory props and a chance for all children to pretend to be the characters from their favourite stories. WMOS are back with a spectacular show nun should miss! Nothing is the same for aspiring disco-queen Deloris after she witnesses her mobster boyfriend commit a terrible crime. Forced to go into hiding, she is sent to the last place anyone would think to look for her - the convent of the Queen of Angels Church. Living undercover as a modest, frugal nun is a drag, but when Deloris is tasked with improving the struggling choir, she discovers a 'habit' she might actually be destined for... Based on the iconic 1992 film, and featuring original disco inspired music by Oscar winner Alan Menken (Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors), this uplifting and riotously fun show is not to be missed.
