Event:  Mark Chadwick - 8pm - One of the UK’s most successful songwriters, Mark Chadwick, has co-written 20 chart singles and 6 Top 40 albums (including a Number 1) as part of the Levellers, the band he has fronted for over 25 years.Still going strong, the Levellers are festival favourites and have cemented their cherished status with headline performances at Glastonbury, Isle Of Wight, Cambridge Folk Festival, Bestival and Boomtown and many European and UK events and in 2003 they successfully created their own annual Beautiful Days Festival which takes place in August at Escot Park in Devon. During this time Mark has released two solo albums ‘All the Pieces’ and ‘Moment’ and his upfront and personal solo performance will see him play a mixture of material from these albums and Levellers classics. Be warned, Mark will have you up dancing!

Event:  Jazz In The Hut: Thames Valley Jazz - 12.30pm - Free entry - Traditional New Orleans-style jazz. The Thames Valley Jazz Quartet (occasionally Quintet) plays trad jazz in the New Orleans style. They were formed in 1987 by clarinettist Jack Sinclair who has played alongside the professional bands of Chris Barber, Acker Bilk and Kenny Ball. Event:  Nick Harper – Rescheduled Date - 8pm - 58 Fordwych Road in Kilburn, London was where Nick spent the first few years of life. It was also a hang out for Nick’s parents’ bohemian friends. The 58 Fordwych Road Tour recteates that flat in 2019 and Nick is airing some seminal acoustic classics as a tribute to his dad and his contempories at a pivotal point in music history. Nick is playing gems by Davy Graham, Bert Jansch, John Renbourne, Jackson C. Frank, Sandy Denny, Paul Simon et al. As well as the one and only Roy Harper of course!

Event:  Comedy - Mark Watson: How You Can Almost Win - 8pm - In 2017, Mark Watson - a man prone to considerable anxiety, with multiple phobias and a history of piss-poor self-esteem - was asked to go on Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls. It really wasn’t for him at all because his favourite things include safety, comfort, food and not being scared and miserable. But the experience changed the shambolic comedian for the better, and now he's written a sort of motivational talk about what it taught him. But still with jokes.
