His debut release Flickering was on the Grammy ballot for Best Folk Album and Best Roots Music Performance. His follow up full-length A Wondrous Life received great reviews in the US and abroad which led to his first European tour in 2019. He recently produced the critically acclaimed "Blanket The Homeless" benefit compilation which included Grammy winner Fantastic Negrito. In 2020, Mickelson released Drowning In An Inflatable Pool to rave reviews in the U.S. and Europe. The first single, "Jagged Tooth" was accompanied by a fantastic animated video. On November 19th, his new single/video "UNarmed American" premiered on Americana U.K. The forthcoming full-length Known To Be Unknown will be released in April, 2022.

Sunday 10 July 2022 Venue: The Railway Address: 3 St Pauls Hill, Winchester, Hampshire, SO22 5AE Telephone: 01962 867795 Event: Edgar Blues Trio - 7.30pm - Edgar Garcia, aka Edgar Blues, is a superb and talented guitar player and singer, he was born in Barcelona, November 1988. In 2016 he started performing to live audiences as the solo opening act for the Demian Band, where he also played bass guitar. His performances as a solo act and as an accomplished bass player have been greatly appreciated by all audiences around Europe. He has now taken the plunge and, during lockdown, wrote and recorded his first album called "The Next Step". "The Next Step" features 11 tracks, 9 of which were written by Edgar and go to show that not only is he a masterful musician, but also a great songwriter. Edgar is now hitting the gig circuit with his band and bringing the music of this superb album to life in venues around Europe and the UK. Venue notes: ID is required on the door. Work and stress. Life at the anvil and hammer, bearing the brunt of life's weight. Since 2009 he's been at that grindstone, gathering stories and carving melodies while working late nights in bars between shows armed with just an acoustic guitar. Somehow the perpetual "new artist", even as others adorned with that title come and go, and Seán is still at it allowing the songs to pour forth like the finest lager.
