Event: An Evening with Marty Wilde - 7.30pm - Marty talks about his life and career in this fascinating true story of the ‘boy from Blackheath’ in Southeast London, growing up in England, as a teenager, as a teen-idol, from his own hit recordings, and songwriting hits for other artists. Marty is an iconic figure in British music, described as a ‘pioneering figure in British rock ‘n’ roll and pop music in it’s early days’ and is recognised by the Official Charts Company as one of the UK’s all-time greats with a career spanning over eight decades. His 85th birthday celebrations are in April 2024.

The jumper-loving This Morning star, who keeps popping up on Pointless, QI, Would I Lie To You?, Sunday Brunch, and The One Show, has been burbling and babbling since he was a baby, and in his hilarious new one-man show the award-winning raconteur (and holder of the world record for the longest-ever after-dinner speech - 12 and a half hours!) is trying to work out why.
