Event: Fred the Cat Storytelling Club - 10am - Fred the Cat's Magical Monthly Story Club is an exciting club for the under-fives at The Lights Theatre in Andover. Once a month Amanda from Merry-go-Round Storytelling will bring to life a favourite story or classic tale with music, movement, early years drama, and lots of imaginative fun. These interactive storytelling sessions are perfect for inquisitive minds and anyone who just loves stories. Sessions will include sensory props and a chance for all children to pretend to be the characters from their favourite stories. This event is for 2-5 year olds. With a limited amount of spaces, we would encourage all parents to book in advance across the programme, to avoid disappointment.

Event: THE ZOO THAT COMES TO YOU - 11am - The Zoo That Comes To You follows the impassioned attempts of two animal enthusiasts to share their love of and concern for animals with the world. They take in animals that need respite, care or a temporary home and have, accidentally, ended up with a whole sanctuary, but with no visitors! So everybody – animals and humans alike – have decided it is time to get out, see the world, and bring the zoo, to you. Come and meet this eclectic group of charming yet cheeky animals, as they discuss their life experiences and the challenges they face in a rapidly changing world. They have a lot to say and want to inspire people of all ages to take action, because they know small actions can make a big difference in the world. But will her friends make it through the snow to the winter woodland revels? Can you help them on their journey? Led by The Last Baguette theatre company, A Winter’s Tail is a fun, relaxed play-along theatre adventure. Expect to play, move, watch and laugh. On selected Sundays, Evensong will be preceded by a short, informal recital given by a host of talented organists. All are welcome to join from 2.55pm – 3.20pm in the Quire. There is no entry cost for these informal recitals, donations are welcome upon exit. Acknowledged as one of Britain’s “most brilliant and exciting musicians” (Leeds Inspired), Joshua has broadcast live on BBC Radio 3, performed on national television, and guest conducted the City of London Sinfonia and The Sixteen. Prior to his role at Winchester Cathedral, Joshua was founding Director of Music at Steel City Choristers, Assistant and Acting Director of Music at Sheffield Cathedral, and Second Assistant Organist at Wells Cathedral. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Royal Northern College of Music, graduating with a First-Class degree with Honours, studying the organ with Darius Battiwalla and Thomas Trotter.
