The Thames Valley Jazz Quartet (occasionally Quintet) plays trad jazz in the New Orleans style. They were formed in 1987 by clarinettist Jack Sinclair who has played alongside the professional bands of Chris Barber, Acker Bilk and Kenny Ball. Assuming everything goes to plan on the exit from lockdown WFC will be presenting an evening of music at The Hyde Tavern on Sat July 10th - Blacksmith Folk Rock Band will play though folk rock favourites from the music of Fairport Convention, Steeleye Span and others, and the evening will be opened by our own intrepid band of sea-shanty singers, The Itchen Privateers.
