The aim is to put on a varied billing of shows which hosts established names, alongside introducing exciting new and up-and-coming acts. The monthly singarounds at the Hyde Tavern are free, informal evenings where everyone gets together for a drink, and to sing a song or play a piece of music. Electric Eden are a three piece contemporary English folk band from Winchester, producing a very earthy traditional sound with a modern approach to folk song writing. Electric Eden started out as a Final Year Project with a group of friends from the University of Winchester in early 2011 and, with hard work and a little help from their friends, grew into fully fledged band.
