Event:  FINDLAY NAPIER - 8pm (doors 7.30pm) - Widely regarded as one of the finest performers on the UK music scene, he’s as comfortable on the Main Stage of Cambridge Folk Festival with folk rock supergroup The Magpie Arc as he is in an intimate acoustic show in the back room of a pub. This fact was further highlighted when Napier was the first solo act ever to be nominated for Live Act of the Year at the Scot’s Trad Music awards in 2018. Tirelessly creative he has been touring and releasing music since the early noughties. First with groundbreaking trad folk band Back of the Moon, then with Nu-Folk pioneers Findlay Napier and the Bar Room Mountaineers and most recently as a solo act working under the guidance of legendary songwriter Boo Hewerdine.

Lucy has supported the likes of Texas. Wet Wet Wet & Lucy Spraggan as well as selling out numerous shows of her own across the UK. Lucy is supported by Lenni Coffey. Lenni is a Folkestone-based singer/songwriter playing acoustic folk with hints of Americana on the ukulele. Her songs combine poetic lyricism with a twist of dark humour to explore themes of heartbreak, homecoming and relationships - think Regina Spektor meets Taylor Swift if the latter did more swears. Event:  Organ Festival 2025: Dónal McCann, Director of Chapel Music at Winchester College - 2.55pm - On selected Sundays, Evensong will be preceded by a short, informal recital given by a host of talented organists. All are welcome to join from 2.55pm – 3.20pm in the Quire. There is no entry cost for these informal recitals, donations are welcome upon exit. Director of Chapel Music at Winchester College, Donal is responsible for the musical education of the Quiristers. In his new role as Head of Choral Partnerships, he fosters relationships locally and further afield, creating new and inspiring musical experiences. His musical education began as a chorister at St Peter’s Cathedral, Belfast, before taking up organ lessons with Professor Gerard Gillen at St Mary’s Pro Cathedral, Dublin. Dónal read music and was an organ scholar at King’s College, Cambridge, accompanying the world-renowned chapel choir in services, recordings, international tours and broadcasts, including A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols. He graduated with a double first and took up the post of Assistant Organist at New College, Oxford. Whilst in Oxford he released his debut solo album to critical acclaim, featuring works by Bach and Walther. Dónal is co-principal keyboardist of the Oxford Bach Soloists, and as an international organ recitalist he recently performed in Westminster Abbey and opened the restored organ of St Lawrence Church, Vittoriosa in Malta. He has featured as a guest organists with many ensembles, including the Instruments of Time & Truth, the Ulster Orchestra and Academy of Ancient Music. He is also an award-winning composer, his music recently being performed by the BBC Singers on BBC Radio 3.
