Britten's vibrant harmonic soundscapes and Auden's passionate and political lyrics are refracted through diverse influences from samba and swing to blues, folk and funk. Songs include Stop All the Clocks – made famous by Three Weddings and a Funeral – plus readings by one of the following actors; Sir Derek Jacobi, Roger Llloyd Pack, Simon Russell Beale or Samuel West.
