You may think you know this much-loved and often-performed light opera, but our new production, full of fun and energy, will literally take you to places you have never been before! There will be plenty that's familiar – Sullivan's sparkling tunes beautifully harmonising with Gilbert's tale of unrequited love amidships and overturning the conventional social order. But as in many of the Gilbert and Sullivan operas, a surprise disclosure changes things dramatically at the end of the story We're bringing the nautical theme right into the 21st century and beyond, and will be blasting off into outer space in a stunning and exciting show.
