In an evening of uplifting song she will perform tracks from her latest album, Hill of Thieves, which was voted Album of the Year, BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards. Cara won the All Ireland Singing Trophy at the age of 14 and went on to sing with Oige, De Dannan and Equation - where she met husband and musical collaborator Sam Lakeman. Whether she's singing original compositions or her own native songs of lost love and emigration, you will be hard pressed to find a more captivating performer. Expect a show brimming with atmosphere and passion along with moments of pure magic with an all-acoustic band forming the perfect backdrop to Cara's emotive renditions of traditional folk songs.
