Event: SOUND WINCHESTER 2026: A FREE MUSIC AND SPOKEN WORD EVENT FOR ALL! - 09.45am-5pm - Sound Winchester is a collective of music and voice groups, demonstrating the diverse and vibrant range of creative talent in our city. Building on the success of the first two years, Sound Winchester 2026 will deliver an exciting mix of performances, hands-on workshops, jams and taster sessions - from samba, ukuleles, songwriting, poetry, jazz and beyond. Sound Winchester is an opportunity for everyone to try something new, to learn from others and to collaborate. Guests can come along to watch or join in. Event: Fred the Cat Storytelling Club 2026 - 10am - Fred the Cat's Magical Monthly Story Club is an exciting club for the under-fives at The Lights Theatre in Andover with lots of new stories coming up. Once a month Amanda from Merry-go-Round Storytelling will bring to life a favourite story or classic tale with music, movement, early years drama, and lots of imaginative fun. These interactive storytelling sessions are perfect for inquisitive minds and anyone who just loves stories. Sessions will include sensory props and a chance for all children to pretend to be the characters from their favourite stories.
