Winchester-based chamber choir Ashton Singers, founder and conductor Julian Macey, celebrate their 50th anniversary in the beautiful setting of St Cross with music by Gabrieli, Monteverdi, Schütz, Schein, Buxtehude and others, together with the violins, cornetts and sackbuts of Canzona - one of England's leading period instrument ensembles (directed by Theresa Caudle).
