Blacksmith Folk/Rock band are a Winchester-based group, featuring Kathy Ashford on lead voacls, who perform a variety of folk rock classics from the heady days of Sandy Denny's Fairport Convention and Maddy Prior's Steeleye Span. These traditional tunes and songs from England, Scotland and Ireland are given the full electric folk/rock treatment, using electric fiddle, guitar, bass & drums to recapture the songs that gave birth to the folk/rock genre.
