In the beautiful setting of St Cross Church the Ashton Singers, with period instruments led by Julia Bishop, present French and German Baroque music for Advent and Christmas, including Charpentier's oratorio In nativitatem Domini canticum H. 416, with motets by J.M.Bach, Buxtehude, Praetorius, Scheidt and Schein. A wine and juice bar will be available during the interval.
