Wessex Sinfonietta is a dynamic chamber orchestra which performs an eclectic mix of well-known and less familiar pieces with highly respected conductors, including Frank Zielhorst, Dennis Simons and Richard Dickins. For this concert they are joined by soloist Gavin Kibble, who played in the Festival's lunchtime series in 2010 and was formerly a member of Hampshire County Youth Orchestra. Gavin now regularly plays with ensembles including Oxford Baroque, La Serenissima and The English Concert.
