The Festival opens in the splendour of Winchester Cathedral and features a pan-European ensemble of younger players in partnership with one of this country's great musical ambassadors. Tasmin Little's repertoire embraces centuries of virtuoso masterpieces, stretching back to the Baroque delights of Vivaldi's Four Seasons. This ever-popular Italian drama will be balanced by orchestral displays of lively Austrian Classicism and gentle English Romanticism.
