The Military Wives Choir first shot to fame when they took part in the fourth series of Gareth Malone's The Choir, capturing the nation's heart instantly and going on to secure their first UK number one single Wherever You Are.Since then the group have created their own foundation dedicated to bringing together the wives and partners of servicemen and women across the country to sing in unity. In 2012 they also performed at the opening of the Olympic Stadium London contributing to the Gary Barlow and Andrew Lloyd Webber track Sing created to mark the Diamond Jubilee of Elizabeth II.
