The band's repertoire ranges from 50s to the present, Aerosmith to Wilson Pickett, Rolling Stones to Madness. The combination of a regular rock band line-up with saxophone and harmonica adds variety to the sound, while the didgeridoo offers an unique change of pace on the much requested Sun Arise. delighted to present an evening of pure Irish joy with Seán Millar also known as Doctor Millar the beloved singer-songwriter from Dublin. He has released 5 Solo albums and also plays with his old friend Nick Kelly in their band DOGS in iconic venues and festivals such as Glastonbury. ‘The Bitter Lie’ got him nominated for a Hotpress Heineken award for best songwriter and has made several critics best Irish albums of all time lists. ‘ Always Coming Home’ had him hailed as ‘a national treasure’ by the Irish Times and The Hotpress Magazine review pointed out why his work was more relevant than Dylan and Elvis Costello. ‘C48’ was hailed as a masterpiece by Hotpress. Séan celebrated his 60th birthday last year with a sold-out show in the iconic Dublin venue Whelan’s. It was a fantastic night, hailed by The Irish Times as Gig Of the week. Seán is looking forward to playing a selection of his most popular songs at The Railway Inn.
