The Opera Dudes 7:30pm Saturday 13 Nov 2010. Over the last four years, the Opera Dudes have been causing a sensation, touring the country and performing more than 200 shows to universal acclaim. Two modern day Mario Lanzas performing some of the world s most romantic music, in their own unique vocal arrangements. Licensed To Trill tells the story of how a posh former Cambridge scholar and an ex-builder turned international operatic tenor met up and formed one of the most original classical double acts you will have seen, with music ranging from Puccini to Elvis Presley and Lloyd Webber, via Rachmaninov and Donald Duck. Tim Lole and Neil Allen combine their musical and vocal pedigrees as operatic tenors with great humour and charm. This is a wonderful evening of music, wit and warmth - two guys whose on-stage chemistry, comic timing and love of music and entertaining have wowed audiences across the country. Cost: £12.
