On 6 June a team of 9 people local to Newbury are attempting the "Three Peaks Challenge" to raise money and awareness for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Join the battle, support the cause and buy a ticket for a special 'one night only' evening of live music from local bands. Headlining this event will be THE DIRECTORS, joined by friends Overload + Alex Krupa + The Revenant. This ticketed event is open to the public and is being held at NEWBURY RUGBY CLUB, Saturday 23 May 6.30pm till late. Tickets on the door £5. 100% of proceeds goes to the MNDA. The 3 Peaks Challenge is to climb the three highest mountains in the British Isles within 24 hours, including the travel time - these mountains are Scafell Pike (Lake District, 978m), Snowdon (Snowdonia, North Wales, 1,085m) and Ben Nevis (near Fort William in the Scottish Highlands, 1,344m).
