The Ambassador's Ball: Joelie Family Band Fri 11/04/14 7:00 pm - Cllr Ernie Jeffs was appointed as the Mayor of Winchester at a Mayor Making Ceremony at Winchester Guildhall on Wednesday 15th May 2013 - his wife, Barbara will serve as the Mayoress. In order to raise money for the Mayor's chosen charities a series of events are planned throughout the Mayoral year. This years charities are: Hounds for Heroes Countess Mountbatten Hospice Scouting (or the Scout Movement) Go along to the Ambassadors Ball on Friday 11th April, cocktails are served on arrival followed by a 3 course meal and then dancing to the Joelle Family Band.
