Carrivick Sisters The Carrivick Sisters Doors open 7.30pm | Show 8pm -10pm Identical twin sisters Charlotte and Laura Carrivick have grown up playing and writing music together. Their unique style shows their strong bluegrass influences without obscuring their English roots. With tight harmonies that only siblings can achieve, they perform their original songs on guitar, fiddle, mandolin, dobro and clawhammer banjo. Starting 2010 as runners-up in the BBC Young Folk Awards, Laura and Charlotte went on to play at major venues throughout the country, headlining in their own right but also sharing bills with such names as The Quebe Sisters, Sara Watkins and Crooked Still. They also managed to fit in 26 festivals including amongst many other The London International Guitar Festival, Glastonbury, Llangollen Eistedffod. The current year has marked the Carrivick Sisters journey from youthful pretenders to serious contenders, from teenage promise to the rich assurance of young adulthood -now securely positioned as the UK's leading young folk duo. Cost: £12/£10.80 Conc
