Lord Lieutenant's Carol Concert - featuring Dame Kiri Te Kanawa Fri 13/12/13 7:00 pm International operatic soprano Dame Kiri Te Kanawa will join Alan Titchmarsh and Winchester Cathedral Choir at the annual Lord Lieutenant's Carol Concert. This is the 11th Christmas Concert which Dame Mary Fagan, HM Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire, will have organised, and her last, so one of her favourite performers has been invited to join Alan and the world famous choir. The concert raises funds to support the education of the Cathedral's Boy Choristers. Alan and the choir will be putting together their festive combination of readings (some Alan's own) and music under the leadership of Andrew Lumsden, Director of Music at the Cathedral Tickets available from the Cathedral Box Office at the Cathedral Visitors' Centre and on-line at www.winchester-cathedral.org.uk or tel: (01962) 857 275.
