This Way Up This Way Up are a three-piece blues/rock-based band featuring some highly experienced and respected musicians from the south coast of England. Formed in 2001 after the disbanding of Step On the Gas, This Way Up have performed continuously across the south. The combined sound of Les Ayling's voice, Colin Hovie's crisp drumming and ex-Busted Fender guitarist Tim Dunn's excellent slide guitar is worth seeing. Their music includes old Blues standards from J.B.Lenoir, Albert King through to the young new artists such as Kenny Wayne Shepherd & Sonny Landreth.
