Jazz Play Day with Gareth Lochrane This day workshop with Gareth Lochrane is open to all flute, saxophone and clarinet players of Grade 5 standard and above. Gareth Lochrane is course director of the Junior Jazz Course at the Royal Academy of Music, and also teaches to degree level at the Royal Academy of Music, Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Trinity College of Music. His most recent album "The Strut" was named MOJO Jazz Album of the Year 2012. The day will consist of playing big band arrangements, improvisation and learning music by ear.
