The Troubadours from Fountain Valley High School, California will be giving an informal lunchtime time recital in the North Transept. Thirty two singers, aged between 14 and 19, are touring Europe for the third time, and performing unaccompanied a programme of sacred music from the 14th century, including motets by Weelkes and Palestrina to the present day, including a number of spirituals and arrangements by their musical director, Kevin Tison. As well as singing in Winchester, they are performing at Christ Church, Oxford and Bath Abbey. There is no charge (aside from the usual Cathedral entrance charge) for this concert
