Celtic Confusion are a Dorset-based Irish band, formed by classical violinist Gill Collins and talented guitarist John Reeks. The two met in 2004 whilst playing at various Irish music festival in the south west of England and were soon joined by Clive Jennings, a multi-instrumentalist who plays hammered dulcimer, bouzouki, darabouka, whistles and other instruments no-one else wants to play. Also, Mike McDaid, an accomplished piano accordian player who is known for his love of jazz and who frequently introduces vibrant chords into his playing. Celtic Confusion play a mix of Irish and Scottish tunes. With experience of weddings, barn dances, ceilidhs and pub gigs, they play in intimate and large venues.
