John Etheridge & Kit Holmes 7.45pm. John Etheridge is one of the world's most respected guitarists. He was the guitarist for the celebrated jazz violinist Stephane Grappelli and has performed with Soft Machine, Pat Metheny, Andy Summers, Dizzy Gillespie and Nigel Kennedy. Currently in a duo with the eminent classic guitarist John Williams. John's special guest is singer/songwriter and rising guitar star Kit Holmes. Her music fuses a broad range of influences from pop to folk, blues and soul and has been played on both the Bob Harris and Andy Kershaw shows. Before the show, 6.15-7pm, there will be workshop with John and Kit where you can gain some expert tips and advice about all aspects of guitar playing.
