Funk on a Friday: Steve Lowis is a singer songwriter from North Yorkshire. Currently living in Southampton Steve has played at many of the City's finest music venues and over the period of 7 years has organised his own acoustic/band nights and battle of the bands and also helped to organise Southamptons only free live music festival The Access Fest, which helped to raise money and awareness for a local homeless charity. Steve has also been the front man to several bands over the years including Delirium (rock/indie), Circus Act (Punk/Emo), The Karate Kids (Karate Cover Band) and his most recent folk band The Lowis Lanes (www.myspace.com/thelowislanes).
