Immerse yourself in the splendour of live choral music whilst admiring the open space of the Nave. Index Cantorum returns to give a performance Thomas Tallis’ 40 voice masterwork Spem in alium, and other polychoral works that relate to a theme of ‘pilgrimage’. Experience the music as ‘promenaders’, engage with the ‘Pilgrim Grounds’ art installation, or sit informally in the middle of the nave, with the singers encircling the audience to provide ‘Quadragintophonic’ sound. Free on admission to Winchester Cathedral
