“The Beehive” burst onto our stage last season and were an instant “must book again”! Fiddle, hurdygurdy, percussion, guitars, double bass, they’re all there. Infectious fun and a fresh style promise a classic evening of songs and tunes from Ireland to eastern europe . In the cellar of The Hyde Tavern. £7 or £5 for folk club members. Winchester Folk Club opened in May 2010 with its first night playing host to none other than Martin Simpson. The club presents top national and international acts from the world of folk music on the first Wednesday of each month at the Hyde Tavern.
